привет всем а извините что я не писал в какое времена то. hello everyone and sorry that i haven't written in a while.
kinda have been busy with life but i have added some features to this site. as i added 3 russian words of a day gadgets.

no the title i have used here is maslenitsa or масленица which is translated as butter week or week of fat (fat is like butter oil etc.)

now this holiday lasts a week. it starts in febuary on the 28 this year and goes on till the 6th of march.
i like this holiday and though i am a christian this is a pagan holiday. although almost no one celebrates this holiday but i like it as there is so much bliny. блины is something like a crepe but way better (and i am not just saying that cuz they're russian). these are filled with varrious things from caviar and beets to strawberries and blueberries and whipped cream.
another thing which is popular is olyady ольяды which is like our thick pancakes for scotch pancakes.

now there is more to maslenitsa then pancackes (though that is the main part) one this starts a week before lent. so this is partly a christian holiday.
2 there is a maslenitsa doll which is buened at the end of the festival (this is also known as pancake week or the pancakce festival.)

3 there is games mostly beating up on people
snowfights
wrestling.

now there are tradiotions which i have to mention.
each day you have to give pancakces
there is a day where sons give mother inlaws
a day where the wife gives husband
husband gives wife
daughter to mother in law.
