hey again

ok so some things i have been finding out. look at your local library and they will have books in your target languae . remember this blog is mainly about russian but hey you know it could be helpfull for other users. also if you buy a magaizne in that language i helps to have a highlighter. read the magazine and highlight the words you dont know or highlight the ones you do. if you feel discouraged the highlighted words you do know in the magazine will make you think hey i cant belive i know this much words or the ones you dont know will stand out saying hey i need to learn that word. pick up some books that say tips on learning foreign languages. or even books like how to teach yout child a foreign language.

something i found out today. try listening to the language often even if you dont understand it. i am not learning polish but i love this song from a polish singer and listened to it over and over by the fourth time i listened to it i knew how to sing along to the words and i knew pronouciation. yet i dont even know what its about but who cares. now i did the same with russian and it works too sure it took me a bit longer but i can understand the song and learn the words as well. something handy is watching the tv in russian for me as even though i can understand tons i can listen and get pronouciation right.i also speak with my friends constantly which i made from this wonderfull site sharedtalk.com. basicaly they teach u you teach them. all free too

learning to type russian is hard so i used this site for learning to type russian. then the keyboard stickers helped too. but if you cant seem to get any as i have had trouble then do this. buy a keyboard (i got one for 13$) and go to wikipedia and search for russian keyboard. then take a permanant marker and draw the russian letters on the right keys and wait for it to dry then take some nail polish thats clear and paint over it. when dry you can use it and wont have to worry about the russian letters.
