time time time and how there is not enough

hey everyone. well sorry about yesterday i completely forgot about blogging but well everyone knows about life and this is something i wanna talk about. many people ask me how do you find enough time to learn Russian Dutch Japanese .... and whatever else your learning. to be honest it is hard, sometimes i can't learn and other times i have enough time in the world. something that always helped me out is this. never forget to practice no matter where you are. 


i have learned that just by listening to my iPod words that are repeated over in both English and Russian. i was able to do it while i bike or walk. and i didn't pay attention most of the time but about 10%of the words would stick. also i noticed that while working i use numbers in Russian. if i am talking to myself counting things or looking up stuff or even writing down information i use the numbers, whether it is 4, 5, 7 or 457. i actually found time practicing the language without any native speaker. there are tons of stuff out there and i have only found a handful of it. my friends have found more probably but who knows it may not work for me. 


like for instance my friend uses flashcards to learn Russian  (probably mentioned earlier) but as for me i have tried and it did not work at all. i need just plain old audio. now my other friend he can learn just by audio but he also cant learn just by reading he needs a combination. so flashcards may work for him. you may think how?
well simple he can find some audio flashcards online or make some the old fashioned way and say the words out aloud.


now grammar wise this is hard but i have learned more grammar by speaking then by reading in a grammar book.so my tip is to keep speaking  it no matter what. and try to do the language  daily if not every other day. and just because it is summer doesn't mean that your language studies are going for a break. i mean sure take a small break or a day or two off if you need it but not a whole week or whole month i would recommend only 4 days per every 2 weeks. this way your mind can still be fresh to learn and also remember from the past lessons. also test yourself every 3-5 lessons over all you have learned then when you are ready after say 20 lessons as example (you can do more or less if you want) test yourself over all you have studied. you may notice that you have used some words wrong or you maybe learn a word that you thought you had covered but didnt.
ok now before this ends up being a book i think i will quit here. but before i go it is time for the russian words of a day. 5 words today as i have skipped 2 days  (life happens)
first word is разговорить
 it means to speak constantly about many things example my friend gave me is this you can say я говорю о этом с ему(i am speaking with him about it) я разговорю с ему(i am speaking with him) but you can also say я говорю с ему(i am speaking with him) as russian is a easy flexible language.

second word is гарантировать
 it means to gaurantee. 


third word is разрешения permission 

the fourth word is ОТЧЕТ report this is a noun so a report on something


fifth and final word for today is ПОЕЗДКА trip as in a trip to minsk
