russian easter i celebrated!!

Hello my dear friends how are you all doing? how was your пасха? well mine was awesome. I'll tell  you why.
ok so i was invited to this church a year ago but between work and school and stuff just never really got around to going. But this year this easter i said i'm going. and i was stubborn enough to do so. me,my friend and his family rode to this amazing Russian church. The greeting i heard all around me was ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС which means Christ has risen to which you would reply ВОИСТИНУ ВОСКРЕС he truly has.
the music in the church was so angelical. chorus after chorus , i felt a sense of spirit over me.
we sang some hymns all in Russian of course.
I'll say I've never been big on hymns but I noticed that Russian hymns are very beautiful. If you ever go to a Russian Orthodox  church expect to hear chants. I went to a Russian church of Christ. so there was not very many chants but still a interesting and great experience . after the service came lunch time.
Russian food is to die for. The shashlik was so soft and juicy. the oreshki was sweet and delicious and well the desserts, let me tell you i gained 20 lbs looking at the desserts. but every bite was a little piece of sweet success.

Now this post may seem religious to some of you but for Russians easter is a religious holiday.
I definitely intend to celebrate it again this way. now any comments please feel free i read them all good or bad also i would like to hear how you celebrated your easter. let me know some of your experiences.
