planing to go to russia are we?

hey there so today im going to talk about traveling to russia.

so you all know you need passports and visa`s for going to russia. usualy these can be easily obtained through a simple travel agency. what do you need to know if your planning to visit? well thats what im going to tell you.
for one you have to be carefull about the police. no matter what region there are a few officials who like to do things unofficially. be carefull with the russian malitia because there are many who want your money more than your documents to be in order.
russians are very warm and friendly people. i have had supper with qute a few and my plate was always full. and glass NA ZDAROVIE! ZA VODKU!!

as with every country you have to be aware with the political events and rallys especialy with chechen rebels the vladimir over medvedev controversy and skinheads. many of you might be wondering what are skinheads. well they are a nazi like sect within russia set out to pretty well keep russia RUSSIAN.
which means most blacks and spainiards and a lot of foreigners are targeted. best thing to do is to stay clear of big crowds. try to seem russian and not attract attention. most russians wear darker coloured clothing. at least from my own experience form what i have seen, though i have never been to russia so it could be different.

LGBT travelers should be carefull. reason is russia has slowly (and i mean SLOWLY) started getting used to the idea and many are still not open with it. there are gay bars and stuff but allot of times these people are attacted brutally.  mainly public displays of affection shouldnt be shown . most people frown upon it and skinheads will kill you for it. i know this information from my friends who have traveled as well as reading info online.

now what if you are a religious sect? well good news is russia is one of the worlds most religion populated countries. there are islam and christian groups as well as jews atheist budhist just about everytype you could think of. mennonites are still scattered through russia but the population declines.
